Alas! Two pieces in one night!!!
Last night was a great night for me and the good ol' knobs.

This is roughly based off a wonderful photo in my copy of Anatomy for the Artist by Sarah Simblet.

From start to finish I'd say this only took about half an hour. I am particularly pleased with this piece because it reawakened an old technique I developed in high school. Can't believe it's been years since I've used this!
Here's the etch a sketch I am speaking of that uses the same shading technique:

I am familiar with the telecran...I've never had one (we only have etch a sketches in the US) but I heard it's basically the same thing. I'd love to get one someday!

It is called an etch a sketch, or if you're in france and other areas in europe, it's more commonly referred to as the telecran.

whoa cool! Glad you found it.

I've always wanted to get a telecran. They work the same as an etch a sketch, but they are a little bit bigger and have a different color screen.

I have something what look like telecran or this etch a sketch, but mine havent got this screws to dwar but it have a pen with magnet on the top. And when i draw on screen i have black lines.
