It's been a while since I have uploaded art on dA...oops! Let's see if I can get back into the habit!
On Thursday, I went to Atomic Sketch which is a monthly event in Chicago where a bunch of artists go to a bar and create, mingle, and drink. Any art created at the event can be put up on this wall and you can put a price by it. If someone wants it, they find you and pay for it. It's a great time! For the first time, I decided I'd bring a pre-preserved Etch A Sketch with me to create something at the event. A pre-preserved Etch A Sketch has had the aluminum powder inside removed, which means it can not erase. It also means I had one shot to make something on an Etch A Sketch at the event!
I don't know exactly what's going on here, but this is what happens when I'm left to my own devices for a while. For now I will just refer to it as a fantasy scene. Because the original did not sell at the event, I am now offering it on etsy - along with prints for those that are interested.
