Green flowery doodle by pikajane Green flowery doodle by pikajane
Unlike my last uploaded doodle, this particular doodle doesn't have any representative elements to it. This is actually true of most all of my doodles. Pretty much none of them are based upon anything in particular--they're the weird designs that I sort of just spit out of my mind.

I cannot say exactly how long this took--definitely a few hours. I work on these whenever I have random pockets of time. I always like to keep busy, so this is one of my favorite ways to relax and pass the time.

Feel free to download to view full size.

Here's a scanned/photoshopped version of this doodle:

the pens I have been using for this doodle and the rest of my sketchbook doodles as of recent are called staedtler triplus fineliners. They're great because they give a nice thin line, have a pretty decent selection of colors, and aren't too expensive. Here's a link to their official site: [link]

and here's a link to a listing for a set on amazon: [link]

you can buy them at some office supply stores such as staples and office depot, as well as where I bought them, which is blick art supplies.

This is great. But where did you start when you began this one? :)

It was near the middle, slightly to the left, and a little up. near that clustered flower that doesn't look much like any of the other flower-like things.
If you were to follow an imaginary line followed from the edge of my thumb and keep going, you'd pass through one flower, and then a second flower. Stop at that second flower, and go slightly to the right.

I'm pretty sure that's right around where I started. I hope you understand what I mean! lol

Thank you, but regretfully as of now I am not offering my patterns to be used by the public, because I intend to use these in my own art. I apologize, but I intend on making patterns in the future that can be used by the public :)
