I am particularly proud of this piece.
This was based on a sculpture by Rodin titled "Eve After the Fall". It's a marble sculpture located in the Art Institute of Chicago.
I drew this piece in about 40 minutes at the Art Institute, using the sculpture as direct reference. It was really difficult because I had to stand the entire time to create this. My legs and fingers got really tired.
Rodin is an inspiration to me, and I hope this is the beginning of a large series of painting/sculpture studies done from life.
I wanted to use a simple method in shading, and I think it was very effective.
Though this is not the precise angle that I worked from, here is a photo of the sculpture:

Though you can see one of Eve's breasts, I am not going to put a mature tag on this. If the original sculpture can be publicly seen at the Art Institute of Chicago, I don't see why a drawing based on said sculpture would have to be censored.

Thank you very much!
This is one of my personal favorites as well. I am particularly proud of how this one turned out.
I'm thinking about updating this piece with a better photo, because the lighting was a bit too bright. I think it looks better in person, but alas, that is true of most everyone's art haha
I really appreciate your interest in my work!

I've been drawing on an etch a sketch for about 16 years now, so I guess practice would be the best answer :)
