Sailor Moon etch a sketch

I used direct reference for this. This is the first time I have done a detailed piece on a travel sized etch-a-sketch. This took at least 8-10 hours. This particular travel-sized etch-a-sketch was difficult to work with, because the dial was not good at shading, and would get stuck. It most likely would have taken me significantly less time, had the etch-a-sketch itself been more cooperative.
I applied different techniques in shading in her hair an uniform.
None of the proportions were pre-sketched in any way. I just went for it. That is one reason why I am particularly proud of this piece.
