Technological Conundrum

Our first project in Editorial Illustration this semester was to take words from specific lists and create a concept from them. The words I chose were "technology", "tool" and "confused". It was suggested that we find an article that would pertain to the illustration we made. If I were to apply this to an article, I would most likely find one pertaining to advances in technology, with a focus on home appliances.
The icons on the buttons represent common household appliances, as well as other things that in the future, might as well be controlled by a remote (such as the toilet). My friend at school modeled for me.
